UKRAINIAN-POLISH HEART CENTER “LVIV” is a medical center based on the principles of public-private partnership, i.e., the initiative of Ukrainian doctors and investments of the Polish-Italian medical concern.

Departments of Computed Tomography and Angiography work 24/7. 

Around-the-clock services include:

• coronary angiography and treatment of acute myocardial infarction according to the latest standards;
• computed tomography (CT) of all parts of the body. 

Thanks to the public and private partnership, the endovascular procedure for acute myocardial infarction and brain CT for stroke are performed FREE of charge for the patient.

Coronary angiography (examination of the heart vessels), balloon angioplasty (“inflating” the narrowed lumen of the vessel) and stenting (installation of a tube) are performed.

In many cases, these procedures save lives.

Each patient gets access to innovative methods of diagnostics and treatment, e.g., intravascular ultrasound of the heart vessels (IVUS) and assessment of fractional blood flow (FFR). Our Center is the only one in the western region of Ukraine that offers such services! 

We guarantee the standardized provision of services as we are guided to the European recommendations (staff undergoes training and internship in the Polish and Italian clinics). 

Complex cases are supervised together with our foreign colleagues (under the auspices of the president of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventionists (EAPCI)).
