Our Vision.

To stand by a Person in the most critical situations. Thus, we provide round-the-clock (24/7) computed tomography and round-the-clock treatment of urgent cardiac conditions (e.g., acute myocardial infarction). 

To implement innovative methods of treatment and diagnostics in Ukraine. 

Principles.

Our principles are consistent with our Italian-Polish partners Carint-GVM.

The main principles of the Center that guide us in providing medical care are:

• openness and availability for conducting and evaluating diagnostic procedures as well as conducting urgent and planned medical procedures (24/7);
• the patient’s right to quality medical care;
• provision of fast access to diagnostic procedures (CT, CT angiography, ultrasound, selective angiography) from the moment the patient is admitted at the reception or when transferred from other departments/medical facilities and, if necessary, urgent medical assistance in the form of stenting or embolization in the hybrid operating room;
• the principles of evidence-based medicine and European standards;
• internal awareness and feeling of one’s professional duty, attitude to the patient’s needs which is formed through one’s own conscience;
• openness to communication in order to obtain maximum information about the patient’s condition, their anamnesis for optimal planning of diagnostic and treatment procedures which will provide comprehensive information and will lead to the most favorable outcome for the patient;
• everyone is responsible for what they do; this applies both to the doctor together with the laboratory technician who provide diagnostic or therapeutic assistance, and to the patient who must understand the responsibility for their health and provide as much information as possible about previous examinations and existing diseases; only by fostering close cooperation can we get a positive result of joint work;
• comprehensive approach to diagnosis and the choice of treatment tactics;
• respect for the patient’s rights, humane treatment of the patient, respect for human dignity, needs, moral and ethical values ​​of the patient;
• the obligation to maintain professional secrecy: having signed the informed consent, our patients can be sure that their rights are protected, and personal data will be stored only for internal use;
• every employee of the “Ukrainian-Polish Heart Center ‘Lviv’” is a specialist in their field, but this does not exclude mutual assistance and teamwork because being in a team means supporting each other for the sake of achieving a common goal – the best possible provision of quality medical care;
• an employee in our center always strives to grow professionally and hone interpersonal skills;
• the fulfillment of one’s moral duty as a medical worker, which is the result of thorough educational work and self-improvement that gradually turns into deep inner convictions, the need to perform one’s duties with warmth and full dedication;
